rallies
We will be joining several other groups in Pittsburgh at the CIty County Building on Friday January 30th, 2026 at 3PM to protest against ICE. Unite Armstrong will be representing the rural communities and I (Sally) will be speaking on behalf of our rural southwestern PA communities in regards to the organizing tactics we will be using to manage our own police departments signing onto the 287(g) agreement. Other rural communities have had 287(g) agreements signed that are similar to ours. Unite Armstrong is working to build a coalition with these other rural organizers to find ways to combat this head on to fight for the safety of our neighborhoods.

We will be meeting at Moshannon Processing Center in Clearfield County at 12 PM on January 31st, 2026. If you are interested in carpooling please let us know by emailing unitearmstrong@gmail.com. Our friends in Indiana have invited us to join them to protest outside of the facility as we have protested there already a few times last summer. If you do decide to join us, please dress accordingly. It is bitterly cold outside.
